It's OK. Since it's renewal the seat material looks nicer. The restrooms are also nicer, too. But seating area is still pretty narrow. Also if you're going there from nearby Sakaragicho Station, be prepared for kind of a long trek up a steep hill.

Large hall with good acoustics.
Went for a school contest. Big, spacious auditorium. Finding it is a lil difficult but it's close to the station.
子供の頼みで、子供向けの音楽ライブを聴きにきました。費用は可愛くはなかったですが、貴重な時間を過ごせました。 駐車場は目の前にありました。有料で祝日３時間くらいで1000円だったと思います。 県立の図書館があり、横浜市立図書館よりは専門的な本が多めな気がしました。しかし、大和市立や町田市立の図書館より、図書館の規模は小さく感じます。 丘にあるので、桜木町を一望できる場所で眺めは良いです。
歩くなら、桜木町北改札西口を出て紅葉坂を登るのが近いと思います。紅葉坂は真夏には結構厳しいです。県立音楽堂は正面にシンボルツリーが立ち、回りには図書館や能楽堂、井伊直弼ゆかりの公園もあり、閑静な雰囲気です。リニューアルされ換気機能も高性能になっており、コロナの対策面でも安心できます。ホールも落ち着いた雰囲気で、音響効果も良いですよ。
