Thanks so much for revisiting my professional portrait recently for my mid-life change of career! The results are stunning and everyone who has seen them so far always comments on the quality of the pictures. It was lovely to spend time outside with you outside in a variety of relaxed settings and - despite hating having my photograph taken - I genuinely enjoyed the experience. I would recommend your friendly and reassuring approach to anyone seeking a truly excellent collection of lifestyle/professional portraits.

Julia did a brilliant job with her second shooter at our wedding in February 2020 at St Paul’s Cathedral in London. She worked around the restrictions on photography in the Cathedral itself to capture some great moments and with the very windy conditions for some memorable images. She and her second shooter stayed gloriously in the background rather than feeling you’re in the middle of a photo shoot (apart from our family formal shots and about 20 mins with us after the wedding which were very relaxed). I am really photo shy but we were relaxed and comfortable throughout and we have some lovely images from a wonderful day (which feels like a different time pre-Covid). Julia - thanks so very much!! We spent a lot of time deciding on who we wanted as our wedding photographer. It was important to us to find someone who could perfectly capture our wedding day as well as someone we felt comfortable with. Julia was the perfect choice! Our wedding photographs are incredible and Julia made us feel comfortable all the way throughout the day. 7 years on and we have just had our first family photoshoot with Julia. Once again the results are incredible, photos we will treasure forever!
We spent considerable time looking through photographers websites before choosing her for our wedding . What drew us to Julia Conway was her amazing use of light that is clearly demonstrated in her portfolio photos. She did not disappoint. Not only are the images stunning, she made us feel natural and comfortable in front of the lens (a significant achievement as my wife hates having her photo taken!) Both Julia and her co-photographer were unobtrusive during the day and were largely unnoticed by the guests (getting some great reportage shots as a result) and really captured the story and spirit of the day. Highly recommended.
Choosing a photographer seemed like such a lottery until we came across Julia's website. Her ethos of capturing a moment rather than lots of formal static shots appealed to us immediately. She and Sue were fantastic on the day, capturing amazing quality pictures without eating into our wedding day time. The results are a lovely balance of group pictures coupled with great shots of our family and friends enjoying our day. We really feel that her style of photography captured the mood of our wedding day. I can't recommend Julia enough and wouldn't hesitate to use her for future events.
