My family utilized the services provided by The Neurofeedback Institute. At first we were hesitant of how effective it could be but after a few sessions we saw a noticeable improvement. Also, we were made to feel at home from the very beginning. We found them to be punctual, efficient and friendly. My 8 year old niece has been working with Dr. Blanco and Dr. Harris for the past 6 months or so. She was having trouble with reading and did not do so well on the standardized testing last year, and just overall focusing in school and at home. She was getting so frustrated and would have meltdowns when reading and doing homework. We didn't know where to turn for help. That's when a friend recommended Dr. Josefina Blanco. Dr. Blanco was extremely insightful during the first visit and got her tested immediately for ADHD, which it turns out is what my niece was suffering from. She was immediately put on neurofeedback treatment plan twice per week and they also suggested vitamins and minerals to help with her focus. My niece loves going to \brain training\ (it's what she calls it :) )and we have noticed a huge improvement. Her meltdowns are less and less... almost non-existent. We were so happy with this alternative treatment and our main goal is to try to avoid the ADHD medications. She also had the psycho-educational battery test by Dr. Harris. With these findings/reports, we now know how to help her and give her the tools she so desperately needed. The school was able to make certain accommodations for her to ensure her success and her grades absolutely reflect that. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Blanco, Dr. Harris, and the entire staff. We were so lost and didn't know how to handle these issues. They have been a guiding light and our niece is on her way to a successful and bright future.

My experience at The Nurofeedback Institute is always wonderful! They always call me the day before to remind me of my appointment and to confirm that I will be there. When you arrive you are always greeted with a smile and are promptly attended to. I have never waited more than 5 min to go in. The new office is absolutely beautiful with all new equipment. The assistants of Dr. Blanco are so sweet and nice and are always there to help you and make your time there as nice and relaxing as possible. They have a large selection of Films to choose from to watch during your treatment. Dr. Blanco is amazing and wonderful and has helped me with all of my difficulties with care, concern, and professionalism. Her level of knowledge and understanding is par excellence!! Thank you so much to all at The Nurofeedback Institute for all you help and kindness!!!!
