Much quieter this year - lacking the buzz of previous years despite near perfect weather. Traders field pretty much deserted apart from the loyals visiting \The Fringe\ (could they get it any further away from the main event?) which was great.

Big fun to be had here. Low key relaxed atmosphere good for families and everyone except dogs. Nice campsites nearby.

Arrived at the festival having set aside the weekend to be in the area whilst on holiday to find that dogs were not allowed at the festival site. We had no option but to leave as our dog could not stay in the car during the very hot weather. I could find no information stating this on the festival website and no signs at the festival stating dogs were not allowed. Very lucky that we had not bought tickets! I sought clarification at the festival office and the reasons were \ children and health and safety\!?! We are now waiting at Wells Cathedral for Choral Evensong where dogs ARE welcome and encouraged.

Lovely festival and if you have got the weather its a fine location. There are great walks in the area. Not easy to get to though unless you have got your own transport.
