I like their selection, especially when looking for graphic novels as gifts, both for adults and children. Also love the stationery they carry. During the covid-19 lockdown the curbside pickup is quick and efficient.

Place is comfy, nice arrangement but not many varieties of comics that i was hoping to see. But all in all, i like the store.

Love this place! Fantastic selection of graphic novels. Also has a small French section.

Very unique little book store/gift shop inside of Toronto public library. You can find a lot of hard-to-find mangas and keepsakes here. Def a bit of a markup for most of the trinkets sold here, but they are kind of justified given that they only really carry liscenced branded merchs and many of them are imported from oversea. For me, I'm a huge fan of moomin, babapapa and miyazaki movies, so this place is basically overpriced heaven for me lol all in all im kind of obsessed with this charming local business!

I haven't been to this library too many times since I am from North York. This week, my boss and I had to come here to host interviews since the Marriott hotel was down for renovations (He told me the hotel's restaurant was open, I found out the night before that everything's closed for renovations). As we entered the library, my boss entered this shop, which I've honestly never noticed before, and asked the sales associate to help me find a manga as a gift for my hard work. The sales associate was surprisingly knowledgeable, and it was clear he knew a lot about the books in the stores and even the authors who wrote them. The store is quite small, but it is filled with quite a lot of books, along with Japanese merchandise like Gudetama, and other collectables. We didn't have much time for me to choose as the first person being interviewed informed me that they had arrived, so I got a handful of one-off manga books. I usually borrow books from the library, and I don't bother with novels from Indigo as the store can be overwhelming, but having a small book shop inside the library is a really good alternative for people like me.
