please for the love of god clean the approaches, i stick, even when using smooth slide. i can feel the dry pee from the kids that wear their bowling shoes to the bathroom on my shoes

We had a fun time, but if you're competitive or in the slightest bit serious about bowling I wouldn't recommend bowling here. The lanes are sticky, and as you're about to roll the ball your front foot gets stuck and you fall forward. There should be a little bit of slide for your follow through. That being said, the food and the bar service was excellent, so if you're looking forward to just having a good time without too many expectations then Tinley Bowl can be worth it. Just don't expect the lane conditions to be in the greatest shape.
I bowled here back in the 70's & 80's on two League's. First time back today, 12/29/2020. Still a Nice Alley with many noticeable improvements. Friendly Staff, and Alleys were oiled nicely.
Nice place to go bowl but they really never update stuff the bowling lanes are always broke. They are always having to fix them when we bowl. This is what happened to my ball last time and they said they would just buff them out there is giant grinds marks in them. Now I will have go find new ball!
