Around the port of Taranto you will find off course the beautiful port but also the shopping district is right there. You have to wander through the old center (just behind the port) which is still under reconstruction and it looks at places deserted and spooky. If feels almost adventurous strolling there and discovering wonderful little diamonds, but be prepared for it's roughness. Taranto is also the place to leaveby boat for Dolphin watching.
