He is a good man. Gives you his full attention all the time and totally understands your pain and how it affects your life. Straight forward and professional. Of all my doctors he is by far the best and my favorite. The entire staff in Swansea is very polite and friendly and always accommodating.

Excellent surgeon! He listened to my problem and gave me his expert advice. Operation was scheduled quickly and the office was very accommodating. The doctor himself called me the day after the surgery and that meant a lot to me. He was disappointed I had ordered a wheelchair and he told me why. I was able to cancel the order. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing surgery on their feet. Last year I saw him for an ankle replacement on my other foot. And he said he could fix the bunion and hammer toe, no problem. Thank you so much!

2 days ago I had a fall and fractured my foot. I was able to see Dr. Chihlas the following day after being seen in the ED. He and the office staff were very polite. He explained in detail to me what to expect in terms of recovery. I would recommend

If it were possible to give NO I would. I took my 86 year old mother to him after a fall which left her with a fractured wrist and all bruised up and sore. I and my mother have never met a Dr as rude as he was. He kept cutting her off and not listening to her complaint. It came down to him telling her she was old and needed to work through her pain. Only time would take help her pain. He went against the advice of 2 ER Dr as well as an on call Dr from her South Coast primary Dr. Office. He was saying he understood what she was feeling.. He had fractured his foot once.. An elderly independent woman. Severe osteoporosis.. Bone to bone on shoulders and knee. With a really bad fracture if wrist and possible shoulder. Going back and forth tut for that.. He had her in tears!!! I strongly DO NOT SUGGEST HIM FOR ANY ORTHO ADVICE.. As far as staff they were all kind and professional.. He could learn a lesson on being professional and kind .. To actually listen to his patient..
