We came here for the first time ever, it was about 8:30 on a Saturday, the patio wasn’t busy at all which was nice! We sat outside, met with a couple friends and was quickly greeted by a waiter, couldn’t remember his name but he was great, he made suggestions on food and what and what not to drink. We ended up getting some Brisket of course, more on the moist side, rather than lean and some sides of Mac and Cheese and Creamed Corn. It was so delicious! We were happy with our choices of food. And since it was about 50 degrees outside on the patio, they had those heaters turned on and a nice firepit beside our table helped us stay warm as well. Oh! And they are dog friendly too, which is a definite bonus for us, because we love taking our dog out with us most of the time! Definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a good place to eat and relax.

The outdoor atmosphere was very welcoming with lots of picnic tables and plenty of space.....the food was higher prices compared to other BBQ restaurants around san Antonio so I expected better quality....unfortunately I ordered the half pound of brisket and a sausage link with potato salad & cream corn .....the brisket was very oily and half my brisket was pure fat ...the sausage was good..the potato salad had an odd aftertaste so i exchange it for macaroni which didn't taste as good as I thought it would.. the cream corn had a very watery consistency which I wouldn't order again.... overall I feel like it could be better just put more effort in the quality of food....
Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Socially distanced-and -then-some outdoor seating was very pretty. Walkable from river walk if it's too crowded. Really well priced
Very nice outside Bar-B-Que place to eat. A bit pricey but food was very good. Friendly and I love that when you walk in the driveway you get a smile and acknowledging presence. Will I return? Yes definitely.
Came here for the first time with a friend and we decided to go on a Saturday evening while they have live music. The placement was a little hard to fine because it’s in the middle of a neighborhood so there is no parking except on the side streets and it was pretty packed. So be prepared to walk across the street to park. As soon as we walked up or acknowledged and was told that there was going to be a little bit of a wait for about15 to 20 minutes but we were offered a menu and some water while waiting. Which we did appreciate because it was a little warm out. About 15 minutes later we were finally called to sit down. For the food we ordered the chili green queso dip and jalapeño poppers. Both were really good and fulfilling. We also ended up getting a half pound of brisket a half pound of the peach glaze ribs along with a side of mac & cheese and a side of sweet corn. Everything was good except I wasn’t a fan of their brisket for whatever reason it was pretty dry according to the reviews on here the brisket was amazing but maybe it was just a bad day. The ribs on the other hand were so tender and the peach glaze sauce was served on the side but honestly you didn’t need sauce but I did use the sauce because that was just as amazing mac & cheese was OK I’ve had better. I probably wouldn’t order it again but the sweet corn was really good. Our waiter was a little forgetful he even wrote down our order and still came out to ask us what we had ordered again because he couldn’t read his own writing lol . Besides that this little barbecue place is decent and better than some of the bigger barbecue names. I definitely would recommend coming during lunchtime it’s cheaper and you can get to meet with sides
