Very hard to leave a comment without filling the page. Words cannot express my disgrace of this practice. That is, the staff, the service, the lack of drs knowledge/information about the patient before visits. This is dangerous, unprofessional and highly frustrating. Drs don't read patient records to become aware of patients background, current illnesses, problems or concerns including those written by other professionals before visits or telephone calls. Always have to explain chapter and verse from the beginning to up to present day even if being cared for daily as palliative/end of life care. This is, in my view, not the best supportive care provided of the gold standards framework if drs don't know why they are ringing or visiting you!

I don't need to see a doctor unless I'm I'll but each time I phone there are never any appointments! The only time I have managed to get appt in last 2 years I felt I wasnt even listened to

First World-Problems

My family and I signed up to this surgery upon moving to South Kirkby based on the reviews, we figured all would be ok. After having trouble walking I was told consistently it was due to a lack of Vitamin D. My levels were fine yet I was always told the same upon going to see the doctors. I had pain in my hands and was told by a medical professional to clench my fists and that would solve the problem (note: the doctor in question did not even look at my files nor check my medical history or run any tests). Ultimately I ended up ordering and paying for my own crutches and braces, I went to the hospital where as I was then given a brain scan and unfortunately diagnosed with MS. Very different to a lack of Vitamin D! I have since left South Kirkby and have moved back to an area with competent Doctors. I would never recommend this surgery as had I been looked over properly all issues could have been attended to over a year ago.
