I wrire this review on behalf of my boyfriend.we both visited Byfields after having a lot of unsatisfactory conversations due to his specs not being right. They suggested varifocals which were completely wrong when made and as a coach driver he found them dangerous and couldnt wear them experiencing headaches and dizziness.Three attempt later and flitting back to bifocals he resigned to try them. Mayfield took 999.00 from my boyfriend at the first visit before they began on this journey but failed miserably to get it right. He lives quite a long way from the shop and in between had a heart attack with added stress. In short the glasses remain in their box and he wears his 5 year old specsaver ones. The issue made him so ill he never persued it but we both angry that he wasted such a lot of money. I wanted to take the matter up and if necessary to court but my boyfriend Mr Lewis was ill so I didn't. Complete waste of money and has to wait a year for another eye test. He won't be going back there. I suggested they give his money back but they ignored my plee and made them in to bifocals. Completely wrong again .& he can't see through them at all as I said they remain in the box.
