Decent handpulled noodles. Good broth. The soup dumplings are fluffy, but not that soupy

Feeling like some dumpling after work, I searched on google map and found this place is the closest one offering dumplings and other dishes I like so my husband and I decided to give them a try. Once we got to the place, around 6.15 pm, the place is very quiet, with only a couple of customers. Normally, my husband will hesitate to go into a place that empty, but since I did my study and insisted in having dumpling here, he had no choice but to give it a try. We ordered Steam Pork and Shrimp Dumplings, Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, Scallion Pancake with Beef and, for me, I got Beef Mala Pot. The food came out very quick. I decided to try pan fried pork dumpling first. It looked very doughy. In order to taste the real flavor, no sauce added, I was amazed by how well seasoned the dumpling is and it was not doughy as its look at all. I then tried the Beef Mala Pot, which was like assorted wok from Hot Kitchen. This dish was not bad but I have to admit that Hot Kitchen did better for this dish. The rest of the dishes were very well seasoned. Love every dish and I can’t believe I have been working in the area and never tried them. Will definitely spread the word to my colleagues. Forgot to mention that while we were dining, there were more and more people start coming in....it was a good sign that we made the right choice for dinner tonight. Also, the bill already include 15% service charge. To me that’s a bit too low for the waitstaff, so I topped up to 20%.

This place was recommended by a friend as a China Town staple; however, I was sorely disappointed by the experience. The food was generic and bland. The wait was long. The portions were very large but honestly that was a minus. This place is clearly quantity over quality.

This place has great homemade noodles. You can see them make it at the back of the restaurant. Their steamed soup dumplings are a definitely a must try. The texture of the dumpling is perfect and the filling tastes great. They add a 15% service charge to your bill, but that is only because they have a friendly attentive staff.

Peking Duck buns are sooo good. As is the chicken amen\ soup. The wonton soup, the dumplings and really any of the stirfry noodles. We have been ordering from here on the regular.
