Dum matka is a delivery & takeaway outlet which serves North Indian food & Biryani. Yesterday, we ordered food from there powai outlet. The food was well packed and delivered hot.The quality and the quantity of food from this place is good. Things we tried : tandoori aloo tikka - They taste delicious and mouth melting with mint chutney accompanied with onion and cabbage salad. Paneer banjara biryani - flavourful biryani layered with rice, vegetables, paneer and indian spices in matka. It was absolutely delicious with aromatic flavor. veg biryani - aromatic, flavorful and super tasty. Gulab jamun - soft, perfect sweet and tasty. Overall had a good experience. Will surely be trying some more biryanis from their menu.

Looking for a good BIRYANI thn DumMatka is the right place to be. Known for its Hyderabadi biryanis and the kebabs they offer. I tried the following dish The mushroom biryani was good with veggies & decent amount of masala added. The mushrooms were well marinated and grilled that it tatsed beautiful. The dish would be more justified if there were more mushrooms added. But as a whole the dish was good. The chicken tikka biryani was lovely. I was satisfied with my expectations the chicken was marinated well, being juicy & at the same time a tinch of spiciness. Would really recommend this dish to be tried. The murg banjara kebab were good and the green chutney given went along well which balanced it all. They also take huge corporate orders and deliver right on time, given the time crunch the food was delivered on time and was good.
Biryani rice was not of a good quality. Some of the rice was raw and some was cooked well but overall it was uneven. Quite sad to have such a bad biryani.
At a point this one used to be good for biryanis but not any more. Now the biryanis don't taste good at all.

A place to cherish comfort food in a classic way. If you feel to cook lazy and wabt to have some delicious biryanis then this the place you order from. It has something or the other for all age groups. A perfect balance of flavours in each dish and most important the portion sizes, it was neither too much nor too less. A perfect portion size the restaurant should concentrate. My Order: Murg Lasooni Kebab Chicken Banjara Biryani Mutton Dum Biryani Gulab Jamun Overall, the packaging was good. Did not like the chicken tikka biryani. Found it to be blend and dry.
Dum Matka is located in Powai .They have a good variety of dishes.The Appetizers are very good and well packed .The chicken was well marinated . The Matka Biryanis very super tasty the pieces are also very well marinated .The Quantity is good enough for 2 people . Just loved the service and the delivery was also perfect.
