the management of this fresh food market are increasing shop rents for these local sellers/shop owners at extortionate rates making them go out of business.. As of 22 May 2020 50% of shops closed...feels sad to walk in there btw, don't EVER buy fish from the fish store that sells live fish, i saw a guy come out of a toilet with his apron and rubber gloves on and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. i was walking behind him and saw that he walked back into the fish store dipped his hands into a water tank, picked up a fish and sold it to someone... disgusting!
Clean at most times, causing a rather large sphere of influence for residents from Wu Kai Sha Station to come here. However, beware of the fake high prices from vendors.
