What a marvellous thing - the backstage tour! Really enjoyed seeing the history of the theatre in Glasgow. A real shame that the local council has let this and the Panopticon go to waste as it is clearly a valuable part of our collective social history. The tour lasts about 1.5 hours and winds through all the working parts of this historic building. It oozes atmosphere and good times had by so many - it seats almost 1,800 people in a full house. If you are at all interested in the history of the theatre then this will be a real treat.

Really wonderful l performance of Kinky Boots. The theatre was clean and the staff were very polite. The seats in the top gallery can be perilously steep, hiking gear recommended! Bar service is a bit slow, but there are loads of people trying to get drinks so people need to be patient! Bar staff were great and polite even though some patrons were aggressive! A great venue in all!
Went there for the annual pantomime. Charming city centre theatre that does need serious refurbishment. Seats are rather uncomfortable and ceiling needs a coat of brown paint. It would be a beautiful venue if a big bit of TLC was given. Very handy to access and above all the multi-storey car park is very closed and big enough.
Best theater I have had the pleasure to find on my travels. I was staying at a nearby hotel for a business trip and wanted to do something different in the evening. I saw they still had seats available for the nights show and I got best available. I sat right in the middle and watched a beautiful production. I highly recommend this venture for more shows in the future
I've just been to see The Calendar Girls, the show is hilarious. The staff are all super friendly and look out for your safety. I sat in the Upper Circle, the bar was spacious and toilets have recently been renovated, super clean and modern. Would recommend and great view from the Upper Circle, there are stairs so just make sure you are able to walk up 20 or so stairs.
