Visited the store 15/02/21 - well laid out store with the Covid restrictions, it ran like a Swiss watch. I travel over an hour to this store as they have never failed me. Great to see ample staff rather than a few staff juggling all the balls. Great to see staff so proficient with the technical equipment. The new chairs are much better, easy clean, forward planning, great to see. After my experience \Is there any other Opticians

Was helped by a genuinely nice gentleman by the name of Hamse. Eye test went smoothly and results were explained. Had a good chat and laugh with my eye technician. Asked about using my old frames and it's not an issue at all. Properly advised and handled by Hamse and a nice lady whose name I didn't catch. Keep up the good work in these trying times and thank you from the bottom of my heart for being helpful, professional and friendly. These things are harder for me due to anxiety. Small store but professionally run, with good COVID 19 prevention precautions in place. Staff are wearing PPE correctly. Waiting times are a bit longer than usual, but that is to be expected with social distancing and their cleaning between clients for safety measures.

Been coming here for yrs & been a customer of specsavers for more than 20 yrs. Have spent thousands on contact lens & glasses over the course of 20 yrs. Services in the shop have always been great but things have really gone downhill these past few months. One of my contact lens split, asked them for a replacement & have been advise to wait a wk. Contact them over 2 wks later. They apologise as they have been sent the wrong ones to the shop & have reorder therefore did not ring me. Rang them again a few wks later. Phone left to ring out. Rang them a few more times. 6 wks later still chasing & still no response about my replacement lens. As I paid by monthly d/debit had to wait for the next quarter for my next 3 sets instead. Wrote to customers services to complain, no response from them either for months. Will consider taking my business elsewhere. These people may not think or care about loyal customers going elsewhere but will think twice when the shops close & no job to go back to.
