So far my experience with this office has been about as bad as it can get. I only saw the doctor once in a glitchy video visit so I really can't say anything one way or the other about her. But the office staff and the doctor's nurse are horrible. First of all the office cannot seem to receive anything my old office sends them. whether it's paperwork or lab results my old rheumatologist has to send them five or six times before IUH will receive them. They're supposed to be working on getting me a medication set up, one that I've been receiving for years. They've had since July to get it set up for me to get now. If I miss a dose my arthritis will get worse and I will have a very high chance of reacting the next time I get it. But this office who should know that are acting like they don't even care. I've been calling them over and over trying to get them to work on this and the office staff have all just been very rude and keep telling me they can't do anything. several times they've said they'll send a message to the nurse and get her to call me. I finally got an office lady today who was much nicer and she apologized for the nurse not having called me and said that there were several messages to the nurse and she had no idea why the nurse hadn't called me yet. So she managed to put me through to talk to the nurse right away. The nurse was very rude and basically said that she can't do anything either and I just need to wait. she did mention that she had seen the messages the office staff had sent her. But every single message the office staff sent her was to get her to call me: she has yet to call me once. So overall I would recommend please do not go to IU health rheumatology. the doctors may be great but most of the staff have no clue what they're doing and should not be working in a rheumatology office.
