this church feels very cozy and welcoming. a few interesting details: it was built over an ancient etruscan temple as a manifestation of the Virgin Mary following. it looks very similar to its appearance in the 14th century but it has undergone extensive restoration after WWII as it was severely damaged. the church houses also a museum with important pieces of books, paintings and art, such as possibly the oldest patchwork known in Europe.
