Visited for the first time to purchase Indoor Bowls shoes. Well equipped shop and cafe cooked food hot and cold drinks served. Four rinks for play, very friendly atmosphere and welcoming.

Went there as my father in law (57) lives in Hitchin and wanted to have a go at bowls. I am 34. Called them up and they put me in touch with one of their coaches. Very friendly guy and knew his stuff. Had a great teaching style (His name was Dave) Ask for him if you want a great coach. So cheap to play. It was 8 for 2 hours for the both of us. That included the lane, coaching and borrowing the bowls. Great facilities there too, very clean and smart. Food and drink there with plenty of seating Would highly recommend for anyone of any age.
Good club with a big shop. Nice place to play bowls
