On our way back from the Lizard we spotted the Cider Barn offering Free Tasting. They had a huge range of Cider to try as well as Gin and other Alcohol. They also had a range of jams, sauces, preserves and Cornish Ice Cream. Plenty of free parking and they were right by the main road.

The owner, Mich isn't as friendly as I thought because I saw a milk churn online and I texted that I'd love to buy it, but because I wouldn't pay upfront by card she refused to reserve it for me until I got down there in a month. They were going to take it Mount Edgecumbe and when I enquired on day they're were arriving a blunt message came through saying , didn't go! This Mich sounds stuck up and refused to negotiate. Place should be shut down, really, and owners not friendly. No crafts here, more like Steptoe and Son's backyard.

Love it, well worth a stop. Lovely lady that owns it offering generous samples of the ciders and preserves which are delicious. Ciders can also be bought in various sizes catering for all requirements. Also a very interesting collection of nick nacks , antiques & local arty products, you could spend quite a while getting to see it all. Well priced too.

Cider is good but very expensive, tasting is offered and free. Small and friendly and sells other bits such as a handmade coat hanger made from drift wood and bent dessert spoons for 20, make of that what you will. Worth a visit and plenty of parking.
