Ashley is simply unique: in his professionalism, deep understanding of vocal training and human behaviour issues, patience and teaching methods, significant personal study and preparation of tools and material for use by his clients. I have completed ten private sessions with him and have benefited a lot from his coaching; he knows how to address sensitive issues and tackle challenges, he is also very flexible and a lovely coach to work with. His guidance and advice has helped me become more aware of what areas I need to work on and I have improved as a result of this; perhaps more importantly - and I know that for a fact as I did extensive market research and trials with other tutors before settling for Ashley - he offers the full package: he understands the wider vocal training issues, from presentation and confidence building, public speaking and one to ones, to regional accents and personal charm/style or needs, accuracy and where it matters. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him unreservedly to anybody, he is truly exceptional. He has put in so much effort and invested so much time into his work, both in academic and professional terms, it clearly shows and has paid dividends. I found Ashley’s accent coaching very helpful. Only after a few sessions my friends, and the most attentive critic – my young son, have all noticed the difference in my pronunciation. What I liked most about Ashley, is that he respects everyone’s time and addresses the weak points right away, rather than taking holistic approach. His vast experience can be perceived in the way he adapts to the clients from different cultures, respecting their natural way of speaking, and hence, makes the learning easier and more effective. Ashley is a very good and experienced teacher. He \diagnosed\ my pronunciation insufficiencies quickly, precisely and indicated concrete measures for improvement. His book \Roadmap\ (including the extensive audio part) is extremely detailed und, again, gives tipps for individual solutions. In addition, his calm and friendly way of teaching creates a relaxed atmosphere for learning. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended! Ashley’s accent reduction coaching has helped me enormously with my pronunciation. He has pin-pointed areas of improvement which I would have never thought of without his help despite being a language teacher myself! Ashley is a great teacher, very friendly and he helps you feel at ease in the lessons. His approach is very professional, he has great resources to use in the lesson and afterwards to practice as well. I really value the fact that Ashley keeps track of my progress by methodically working through the difficult areas and returning to recap as needed. I first searched for an accent coach about five years ago and found out about Ashley then. My only regret is that I waited until a few months ago to start having lessons with him!
