It's a small place so you shouldn't come here if you have more than 6 diners. The food is amazing! Awadhi Chicken Biryani, Afghani Kebab and Afghani Butter Chicken is the best combo I've ever had. Try it

I went to have lunch at around 2:30-3 pm, and 60-70% of the menu wasn't available, cheese wasn't available for Cheese kulcha, most of the chicken kebab,all types of mutton kebab, mutton rezala etc. , infact whatever I was ordering wasn't available.. So ended up with one chicken kebab which was available which tasted average, and had to skip the lunch..
Didn't expect this from a well known restaurant. Here at Dum pukht,they suggested me to try out their famous Awadhi handi mutton and chicken biryani. As currently, due to covid situation, they make only these two biryani and some main course dishes..no starters or something else.. But the biryani was almost blank. The amount of salt they used on those biryani was too less. And not only salt,but the biryani was dry and the mutton/Chicken pieces were totally tasteless, it felt like especially the chicken was less cooked. And when i asked them to suggest a spicy chicken dish,they suggested to try junglee murgh. But sadly that was somewhat sweet. So overall, my experience was totally bad here at dum pukht. But one thing that I liked was their behavior. They were very polite and humble.
Very limited seating capacity. Menu has been brutally curtailed and few items aren't available even from that curtailed menu. Staff is hospitable but service and menu needs serious improvement.
nice place located behind jagannath bari, below longtrai hotel. the taste is really good but the quantity and price is the concern as the price for the quantity is considerably higher.
