I love going out here with my kids. There are a lot of rules which people have mentioned, but most people are not versed in farming so having rules/guidance helps keep people in line and there isn’t much staff. If there were more staff prices would be double. The trick is to grab a sheet when you enter find a spot to park your car and get out and walk around for a bit and orient yourself. It’s a beautiful setting so this is not a task in the least. Bring your own containers to collect the produce and then bring it up to the shed for weighing and paying. Don’t get out of your car and start asking questions that can be answered by the sheet. I made that mistake the first time I went there as well. Don’t let people’s one star review stop you from going out there and trying it for yourself. It’s a beautiful spot with a good selection of veggies and flowers to cut.

I have been picking at the tree Farm for over a decade. I arrived yesterday mistakingly thinking it was open. There were cars and people picking. I didn’t realize I had arrived 12 minutes afternoon when they had closed and I did not see a sign. The owner who I have known for over a decade approached me aggressively and told me I was stealing from their land. I clarified my intent but was made to feel like a thief and One who had the ill-intent. I offered to put paperwork in the mailbox that said closed because it wasn’t clear to me and I simply thought they were out of paperwork. Trying to let it go but feeling so assaulted from the way I was treated and the fact that my response was I will never return. I feel saddened and feel in this digital world it’s almost my obligation to share my experience because it was so awful and made me feel so terrible

Bring your own bags. Once you reach the farm there’s a menu with all the available items along with price and also a map on the backside to identify thier location. This is first time going to the farm for picking vegetables, flowers and it was good.

It's like going to your neighbor's house to pick vegetables, except your neighbor has a tractor, 10s of acres, and a lot of ethnic friends.
