Absolutely incredible beach huts! I have stayed in Peggy twice now and I cannot wait to go back. The first time it even rained and me and my girls still loved it. The most recent time was a sunny day in July 2020 and it did not disappoint. The hut was spotlessly clean and I love that it is fully equipped so all you really need to take is a towel and a picnic. It is beautifully decorated and provided a haven for the day. My young girls even did some colouring in the hut for an hour just to get out of the sun. We made a day of it and was there 10:30 - 17:30 when we reluctantly dragged ourselves away from our little piece of tranquility! I highly recommend these beach huts - they are perfectly placed for a fantastic day out - right on the front of the beach and close to the facilities such as the cafe and the public toilets. You won't want to leave! Literally cannot wait to go back - actually where is my diary....! Thanks Little Beach Hut Company!

Beautifully kept beach hut. We enjoyed a full day in Kitty. So pretty and well equipped, they have thought of everything. To be on the beach, and able to enjoy the facilities Kitty offers was perfect for our family. We all enjoyed our day. With the added worry of a pandemic we were pleased to enter a very clean beach hut full of well branded cleaning materials and hand sanitiser so nothing was able to spoil our day. Wind breaks meant we could keep socially distanced from others too. Thank you to The Little Beach hut company. A day we’d love to repeat.
We hired the hut called Peggy.This is definitely not your average beach hut! ....this could easily be an M&S beach hut!! (if they did beach huts). Everything we needed was provided, very stylish, spotless clean and worked. Right on the front row, our grandchildren were back and forth to the water, swimming, crabbing, all the things a seaside should be. Given a little luck with the weather, a day at hut Peggy is as good as you can have anywhere. It may not be the cheapest hut hire on Mersea, but unquestionably one of the best, worth every penny!
Decided not to go ahead with this company or any of the other companies who sele beach huts as they have got far to greedy.
What a little gem in a great place by the sea. We hired Beach But Betty for the day and had a lovely day in and outside this beautiful space. Betty is very welcoming with every thing we needed for the day which had sunshine, wind and rain! She is well located on the front line with the car park, public toilets, cafe and a children's playground all close by. All in all a good old fashioned and thoroughly enjoyable family get together at the seaside.
