I did write a review a few weeks ago but then took it down but have decided it’s important it goes back up. I have had the most upsetting 7 weeks since having microsuction at this practice. I had extremely blocked ears and my left ear was buzzing slightly as had put so much olive oil in it. The procedure happened and then a couple of days later realised that my right ear was also ringing. I have been speaking with the practice manager Oliver and can honestly say it hasn’t been a nice experience - he hasn’t apologised once and is blaming me. I have since found out why I now seem to have tinnitus in my right ear and this is because the machine clarinetted in my ear which is when it goes louder and whistles - I only know this because have been in touch with an audiologist and my ent. When I explained this to Oliver he asked me why I didn’t tell the nurse to stop - which is very rude anyway but why would I have asked her to stop when I have never had this procedure done before and wouldn’t know any difference? The nurse seemed quite frantic afterwards and went on to do the left ear and then moments later asked me if she had done the left ear? She then booked me in for a hearing test which showed hearing was fine and of course Oliver keeps going back to this hearing test but it doesn’t mean anything as tinnitus doesn’t go in hand in hand with hearing loss. I have also developed Hyperacusis and again explained this to Oliver and he has told me that he will not be in touch from now on. I have never had issues with my ears and have certainly never been sensitive to sound. I am 31 and been left with tinnitus - this company should be shut down!!
