Great place to test out your camping gear!

There are a lot of reasons to love this place, but one of them is something as simple as their firewood. The rate is 5 per 12 sticks. The firewood is kept in a large shed which keeps it very dry and allows you to choose which 12 you'd like. I usually choose a good combination of larger pieces that will last a while, and ragged/rough pieces that will start a little more easily. The pieces are not particularly large. I'd guess around 18" long from trees that had a 5"-6" radius, cut into 1/6 or 1/8 wedges. You could keep a small fire going for the night with one 12 stick load, but if the fire is your sole entertainment for the evening, I'd suggest a second load to keep things going. There is a credit card fee for small transactions, so try to remember to buy your wood during check in, or bring cash. Also not that they lock the shed up at night, so be sure to get pick up your firewood before the office closes. At one time there was a wheel barrow to help you carry the wood, but it seems to be gone now. So if your camp site isn't up on the north end of the campground, near the office, I'd suggest bringing your vehicle to transport the firewood.
...so to be honest we only walked past from the other side of the river while walking at Koteewi park. Looked great! Connected to the park by walking bridge.
We stayed this past weekend (Aug 28 2020). It was our first time here and we had our grandbabies with us. Your staff is wonderful and the campsites are so quiet and clean. We will definitely be back and will also tell our friends! Mary and Bill Hall Westfield IN
Very nice place. Will definitely camp here again. We stayed in one of the Electric and Water Site (Site 60). This was a very spacious site, near the bathrooms, dumpsters and the boat launch. I feel this is one of the nicer spots, due to not having a neighbor on the other side. The site has a 15 and 30 amp hookup, along with water. After looking around at the other sites in the area, they do seem kinda cramped. Our neighbor on the other side only had a few feet of space and their fire pit was maybe 10 feet away from our pad. Very cramped, so I'll keep this in mind the next time we camp here. The only downsides to this particular spot is when White River Canoe Company drops off the kayaks early in the morning, it can be loud. Also, the open area next to the campsite is used by other campers or people launching boats for parking. If the people are ignorant, they'll park blocking your own campsite, so make sure you park and not give them any room. Overall, great location. Close to Noblesville and Cicero if you need to make a run for anything you may have forgotten. Very quiet and maintained grounds, bathrooms were cleaned daily.
Very nice campground. For the RV section all campers park on pads. The bathrooms are well maintained and updated. Small campground which helps keep it quiet.
Saw it from the bridge to Koteewi County Park. It was the middle of December. Totally empty. But it is in a great location.
Campground is good. If you plan to stay here make sure they are not packed! If you're looking for a nice peaceful getaway you will not get that if the Campground is full. Children run wild at all times of the night and in the morning just as loud. Campground needs to force a noise policy. As long as the place isn't packed I would rate 5 stars! Campground is clean and well kept. Very enjoyable and peaceful! Prices are fair also.
