The experience of visiting Tim's Baseball Card Shop helped take what probably would have been a brief and minor phase of nostalgically checking in on a long-dormant hobby and turning it into a full-blown return of my love for card collecting. The shop stocks all the latest cards as soon as they're released, and is a jackpot for finding rare, memorable or amusing cards from the past. Tim is extraordinarily helpful finding what you want, even if you're not entirely sure what that is. Prices are extremely reasonable. And it's great to just stop by and talk baseball. Take it from my 7-year-old kid, who insists on getting cards from Tim's and nowhere else, \because Tim always has the best cards.

Coming from New York where baseball and sports card shops were a central part of my childhood, I was so happy to see this one during my Chicago vacation. Very friendly store owner, we all found what we were looking for, including the now infamous Mark Jackson basketball card. Recommended!
