The chicken rice and wantan mee here is among the best in Penang
like
Tried the wanton mee there , supposed to be from the famous one in Georgetown, must say ,very disappointed, beside from the noodle being nice ,the rest of it taste just bland ,there are more better tasty one around ,this one just not it
this place do have quite many varieties of tasty local street foods than other hawker center. just the cheap paid parking lots are limited and sometimes have to pay rm6 per parking fee per counted by per entry at nearby hawker center
Drinks are priced way above normal Penang coffee shop rate. A normal kopi O cost Rm2 (normal price 1.30 to 1.40). Food variety is plenty, and wonton noodles (Hoong Kee branch) is nice though.
This place has a good variety of local food. Taste of food is good.
The "economy" rice very yummy but a bit pricey, it tasted nyonya dishes. I tried the ramen as well, delicious, rm8/bowl only. I will try the charsiew rice next time, look yummy.
Drinks very expensive, Bali som n teh o som total Rm4; economy rice also very expensive, fish fillet vege egg around Rm13; hokkien mee full of chili smell, no prawn smell; 2 points is for the wantan mee, remember order their 細蓉
Good wantan mee. Green on top, Wantan’s are inside. Ingredients mixed with prawn and pork. Fresh noodle with clear soup which is not too salty.
