I had the same experience as John, the manager was condescending and rude. Why do you have to belittle the customer? Frances sorry about your experience and by the way, it's not just women it also men that are talked to like this sometimes. Better to go somewhere else.
Really helpful and friendly staff. I described my project to them and they were able to suggest the simplest and most economical way to achieve it. My order was ready for collection when they said it would be and was exactly as specified. Will definitely be using them again for my next project.
I've been buying wood from Eastman for years now, they do all the machining for me (I usually need some awkward angles cut etc), and they do a great job, and are always friendly
Excellent and friendly service. Worth popping in to them rather than calling or over the internet. They delivered custom cut joists for a renovation project. The quality of the wood and the finish were superb. The tolerances on the dimensions were tight (which is a testament to their attention to detail). All in all I'm a very happy customer (I'm not in the trade) and would be willing to recommend.
