Our opening stainless steel casements are perfect for heritage properties as well as n­ew developments. With over 25 years’ experience in the traditional leaded light industry Touchstone's patented Insulead glazing system and Steelyte opening casements were designed to specifically overcome the problem of double glazing windows in a heritage building situation where no provision is made for glazing other than the original. No modification to the existing fabric of the building is required as the Insulead glazing fits where the original was located, and is made using only traditional materials. Our Steelyte opening casements incorporate a PVC edging in order to protect the stonework. Absolutely first class service from start to finish! Everyone in the team have been so helpful and friendly. It is clear they are proud of what they do. I live in a grade 2 listed house in the Dales. Touchstone were superb helping me with advice and even came to a meeting with the listed building people, showing them the product. They even persuaded them to agree to a realistic and more effective gap in the double glazing, contrary to their longstanding stance of only agreeing to slimline windows being fitted. The staff in the office and the fitting team were excellent going the extra mile for us. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends.

Stunning window installations. We have a church which is now our home. Windows are amazing but have lots of tracery (curly) elements which scared most glaziers to death. After months of research and answers of 'we can do the straight bits' my call was answered with a 'yes we can replace the tracery elements with double glazed units'. I nearly fell off my chair with relief. Long story short, they are craftsmen and deliver something which is almost beyond words - imagine a church with double glazed windows, made out of carbon fibre, with a traditional glass finish and which makes a beautiful building sing. I know, hard to do, but everyone at Touchstone is devoted to helping you at every point and scare of the journey, leaving behind something which is so in tune with the building it is hardly noticeable. And on top of this, we discovered that our stone mullions, which would support the new windows, were hollow terracotta. Nobody had ever seen the likes of it before, but a solution was found and rolled out across the property. A pleasure to deal with; a pleasure to work with and a pleasure to have leave as it means you are now in receipt of a true wonder.
