The village of Rayne is located on the outskirts of Braintree Essex with a population of about 2300. On the main road The Street there are 2 pubs, one being The Swan the other is called The Welsh Princess. Both of which sell good ale's and food. There is also 2 restaurants one Indian called Voujon the other is an Italian/British restaurant called 47 The Street Bar and Restaurant. Both of these places are highly rated for their food. Rayne itself is mostly surrounded by pleasant Essex county side with nice places to go for a walk Rayne is a nice place to visit whether it be for the fine food, ale's and wine or just the pleasant Essex county side. Highly recommended.
