I took my family Land Rover defender 110 into Black Paw 4x4 for a freshen up and to give it another ten years life. I really appreciate the personal touch that Ben was able to give. He was able to give me options that suited my budget and I felt like he had mine and the landys best interest at heart. His work was top notch, having visited countless other “specialists” I really can’t recommend black paw enough! Any future work I need will be done, will be done at Black Paw Cheers Ben, we will definitely see you soon

Very helpful and friendly staff. What these guys don't know or can't do isn't worth knowing. Service, repairs, mods and rebuilds and restorations. Parts supplied, and fitted if you require. They've completed some amazing projects. Can't recommend then enough. Well done Ben, Martin and the team.

We had an alternator fitted a couple of months ago and noticed the warning light came back up the other day. So we rang to say what had happened. Not a problem bring it back,after a quick check the alternator was found to be faulty (not a fault of black paw) this was changed and we were on our way. Now to the good bit.After my wife got home we noticed oil leaking from under the disco we phoned and was advised to check the oil level and bring it straight back,which we did. On inspection they found a split in a pipe that could have been done whilst they were changing the alternator. There was no charge no argument no hassle the pipe was sorted and were back on the road. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Black Paw 4x4.
We met Ben and the team at Black Paw after a chance recommendation at the Adventure Overland Show in summer 2015. We have a 110 Tithonus so rather an unusual set up, and are prepping it to go overlanding. Since December, Ben and the team have built us a custom snorkel, roof rack and cooker shelf, welded our rusty front driver's door and rear crossmember, replaced our 2.5NA with a 200TDi and repainted from NATO green to blue. We recommend Black Paw highly, very professional and proactive, and they will always (somehow!!) find a solution.
