KingIT is a great firm but their Birtinya store hits a high benchmark. They dig deep and continuously impress me. Whether it’s selling a phone or replacing a screen protector,, nothing is too much trouble!

My wife's spilled a bit of soup on her computer, although no water got inside and out was working fine without any damage (I work in IT and could see this was fine). Computer turned on no problems but she wanted to double check everything as precautionary measure. Took this in, but they broke components on the motherboard and somehow wiped the hard drive. With the broken components this computer is not worth fixing and my wife lost all her documents. I don't understand how they wrecked a perfectly good laptop. Still charged her 200 while breaking everything. Although the staff did seem pretty nice tho.

It was a one star review, but the company promptly contacted us, only hours after posting the review, and HANDLED IT VERY VERY WELL. And we hope the staff member in question will give you better service in a similar situation. However he DID handle it very poorly and here’s the original review: The in store customer service representative lied about stock (“oh we’re actually all sold out of that one”) when I called up requesting a change, when I had been given the wrong model of Mac charger the day before at King IT in SS Plaza. It felt suss so I popped in to have a look, not relishing it was us who had called 5min earlier, he showed us to a big bucket full of the right charger. As that was not enough he was an absolute pain in getting it exchanged, saying he’d had to call someone to make sure and we can come back in half hour... We pressed for a quicker phone call, and 5min later it was sorted. Rly disappointing how such a simple thing had to be so poorly handled! Lies and deceit. This all happened yesterday at lunch time.

Highly recommend. Had a 2014 iMac that stopped working - the guys were able sort it out and saved us having to replace the pc. Upfront about costs and very easy to deal with.

Just a quick note to say thanks Matt for looking into the issue on my laptop. It was a simple fix - you did it there and then on the spot without trying to sell me a whole lot of stuff that I didn't need. Very refreshing to see such great customer service and rare to have a good/great customer experience in a field where I'm not across all the pitfalls. I'll definitely recommend your services to my friends. See you again soon.
