Hello. Was advised to attend this evening after calling 111. So reluctant to take up there time with what turned out to be a minor ankle injury. ( it still sore though ) From reception, nurse and X-ray .... all absolutely smooth as silk. A well oiled machine. Very aware of Covid restrictions but still managed a lovely personal touch. Well done you team. Bloody spectacular. This is why we love our nhs. Thank you. Xxx

After visiting this Hospital for an eye injury which happened to a work colleague. I would honestly say - “Avoid” if you don’t want to waste 4 hours waiting to be seen. A couple of people in the waiting room have been before and have also waited around 3 hours before on their previous visit! What they don’t tell you - if you need an X-Ray, that department closes @ 8pm! So you will be waiting for nothing. Only to be examined and ask to come back as a checked priority the next day or referred to HRI. If you also join the queue at peak times, and do not get to see a doctor/nurse, the lights go off and your referred to HRI. Emergencies & babies get priority as standard, just sit and watch them get called up. THINK BEFORE YOU GO \u003e 3 or 4 hours to wait to be seen. Only good point. FREE PARKING! shame there was no complimentary drinks or snacks during the wait.

I had a head wound, arrived & waited 3 people ahead of me. We were all dealt with very efficiently in line with covid19. I sat in the waiting room for 5mins tops. Nurse who treated me was friendly and efficient. Building is clean, well organised, especially with regard to covid. 20mins approx from queuing at the door to leaving. Patients who have left reviews saying they had to wait ages must have arrived at prime time,if there are 20 people ahead of you then you just have to be patient and wait, it takes as long as it takes. I'd give 10 stars for the FREE treatment I received, I am full of gratitude and in awe of the job they do, well done to all. Thank you so much.

Useless. Just an out of hours prescription service, no thanks. Did not offer to treat wound as described in it's purposes. I didn't go for a conversation for them to do absolutely nothing. What use is a consultation with apparently experienced people who aren't knowledgeable or competent. Complacent attitude about non trivial wound. What care? They made no effort to explain, diagnose, or suggest. feasible options how they could/would help. Total waste of my time, no idea what we pay Vat/Paye/Tax for. Fairly certain I wouldn't be vigorously shaking hands in these offices.

I received great professional care from the medical staff. The service was swift and was treated with respect and dignity. However some of the reception staff need some people skills.
