Fantastic park with a children's playground that has separate sections (small) for kids of different ages. There was an armed police officer on duty when we visited. Nice atmosphere.

Hidden gem right in the city! This park is huge and scenic with plenty to do; baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis, trails, playgrounds. My personal favorite is the disc golf course. Its the only one in the perimeter and pro level with some truly unique holes. My only complaint of the park would be the litter. It could definitely benefit from a consistent cleaning crew.

Nice and clean and fun we did my granddaughters party there two times in a row.

The park was very clean and very nice, was able to social distance. I brought my own sanitizing wipes to clean the swings and slides before use

I went to Perkerson Park to play disc golf. I'm still new to the sport and not very good but I found the field here to be really nice. There's lots of shade and variety in the layout of the different baskets. This field has 18 holes and was frequented by many people also playing. I hadn't ever been to Perkerson Park before but I found it really large with many different sporting set ups and nice large green spaces. I recommend this park to those looking for one that isn't over crowded like Piedmont Park. I'll be coming back.
