When I had just turned 14 years old, Dr.Chandela saved my life by removing an A.V.M by having me undergo an open brain surgery. After the surgery, I could have been paralyzed on my whole left side of my body, however my only side effects were loss of left periferal vision in both eyes. With the A.V.M that caused me to have blackouts and excruciating headaches gone, I am so overjoyed to be able to lead a normal life. He's by far the best of the best.

Dr. Chandela did an amazing procedure on my back/leg pain. Before coming to Dr. Chandela, I had excruciating pain in my leg/lower back for a few months. All I can say is WOW! He takes care and is a great communicator..

Dr. Chandela and his team provided me with great care. They were all professional, polite, and comprehensive in their work and care. I would recommend them to anyone needing a neurosurgeon.

Dr. Chandela is an excellent surgeon. in 2015 I was out town and developed a severe case of Vertigo. When I got home I went to my Primary Doctor (Dr Jenkins) and an ENT . Neither could determine what was going on. I visited my Neurologist Dr Randolph Stephenson of Neurology Center of Fairfax. 5 minutes into my exam he excused himself and came back with a prescription for and MRI and had already made an appointment for me with Dr Chandela the next Day His accurate diagnosis of an Arteriovenous Malformation ( a blood clot in the brain.) was correct. He told me that this was VERY Serious and he did not want to wait. Dr Chandela reviewed my MRI and scheduled my surgery the next day. He tried minimal invasive surgery but the AVM was growing to fast. The following week I had to a full AVM removal. Without this fast diagnosis from Dr Stephenson and surgery by Dr Chandela I probably would have died. I found out later that there were only 50 trained surgeons in this procedure in the USA. If I had been rushed to a emergency room and they could not diagnose the AVM, I would have died. I literally owe my life to them. I was VERY Fortunate. Since the surgery I have had no side effects nor recurrence of the AVM. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Stephenson and DR Chandela .
